We've been eating keto carnivore for a year, mostly to help my husband's blood sugar. He has been on insulin for twenty years and now hardly takes any, just some long-acting, per Dr's orders. With the BAKER flour we've made buttery and cheesy biscuits, and then choc chip cookies ... it does NOT spike his blood sugar! A gentle rise, then it comes back down . The flour seems to need a little more liquid than regular flour, but I can adapt.
So far I've baked pizza, cookies, and bread they all came out very good. I will use this flour from now on.
Only half my order arrived. I was a little heartened until I contacted your employee Jess Keeley. She was extremely helpful and is the main reason I will be a continuing customer. Thank You.
I subbed Elevate for regular flour in a 1980's fruitcake recipe that I've been making for 40+ years. It was combined with salt & baking powder, then 1 egg & sugar substitute. The resulting batter was too thick to mix with all the dried fruit, something I'd never had a problem with using regular flour. Also, the final baked cake's flavor was not like regular flour. I was hoping to use Elevate for my holiday fruitcake, to give as gifts, but I would not trust it again for this use, especially seeing how expensive all the dried fruit is.
This flour is perfect for my needs. The shipping was on time. I will definitely buy from this company again.
Not a very open crumb but tasty. Tried with einkorn, half and half. Not good.
Mixed Elevate with Victorias bamboo fiber flour, half and half. It worked!
At least I can have bread again.
Awesome flour.
My husband is diabetic and I'm trying to create options that won't wreck his blood sugar. I made sugar free chocolate chip cookies and I made the wonder bread. He wants me to order more right away@
Fantastic tool to have in my fitness meal planning toolkit.
I used it to make fried chicken and my daughter who is very picky and notices everything I try to sneak in had no idea I love this stuff !
I wanted to love this flour. I really did! Love the macros. I’m on keto and prediabetic so I was super excited to try this. I ordered a 5lb bag. Cinnamon rolls were my first experiment. The first batch of dough, I measured using cups and it came out too dry and didn’t rise. For the second batch of dough, I used a scale and it turned out perfectly. Unfortunately, that’s where my success ends. After that, every other recipe I’ve tried (bread, pizza dough, etc.) has been a complete failure even with using a scale. The dough just doesn’t rise and tears apart. No elasticity whatsoever, whether kneading by hand or using a stand mixer. Five pounds of this flour wasted. It’s just too expensive to experiment with. The creators need to do the experimenting and come up with tried and true recipes that work well with this flour so customers don’t have to waste time and money.
Since starting my keto journey I have tried every type of low carb flour there is to try and make biscuits. The taste and texture of all the other flours are horrible. Made biscuits with elevate protein flour and it is by far the best I've tried. The closest thing I have found to regular flour. The texture and taste are pretty spot on. I highly recommend.
My first recipe that I used this amazing flour for was bagels! They were amazing. So filling with no guilt!
I’ve been eating keto for about seven years now. I had a pantry full of all kinds of flours in order to make a concoction of a flour to make baked goods that look like the real thing, but seldom when it came to bread fell short. Until now I made chocolate chip cookies that were soft and chewy which were great but, when I made these buns that’s when I knew this was gonna be my main staple for baking. I was so excited after I made my hamburger buns and I quickly made it cause I was dying to try it but the crust on these buns were by far the best, not only looked good, but they literally were crunchy if toasted like regular bread. It tasted like regular bread and smelled like a bakery when I took them out of the oven.
Made keto pumpkin muffins using elevate instead of Almond flour which I do not care for. The muffins came out delicious and fluffy.
I’ve making bread with this, it’s become a staple in my diet!
These were good
I absolutely love this flour. It doesn’t have any strange after taste and can be swapped 1:1 easily. It doesn’t fluff up the pancakes the same way regular flour does but it still makes them fluffy! I use it for Greek yogurt flatbread as well!
Great product - only downside is that it’s pricey.
Fantastic customer service. My bag popped open during shipment. They promptly sent me a replacement. The flower is dense, flavorful, and filling.
